主要經歷
都市に棲むことをテーマに美術と建築を横断するチームPHスタジオを発足。美術館での展覧会、屋外での美術プロジェクト、建築設計等、活動は多岐にわたる。1986〜1991年ヒルサイドギャラリーディレクター。2004年からBankART1929の立ち上げと運営に携わり、数々の企画展やアートプロジェクト、アーティスト支援、出版等を行なってきている。大学や行政機関、街づくり、アート関係での講演・シンポジウム参加も多い。
Main Experience:
Founded a unit comprised of art and architecture named PH Studio giving a focus on the motto of
“to live in the city”. Organized numerous exhibitions in the museums, and outdoor art projects as
well as designed the architectures. In 1986 through 1991 worked as the Hillside Gallery’s director.
Since starting BankART1929 in 2004, has curated many exhibitions and art projects, run the
support program for artists and published the books and other media. Also he is a frequent lecturer
about the urban planning and arts in the universities and governmental offices.
